I found the perfect editor for Horse Sense: Angelle M. Pilkington.

Angelle is a ten-year veteran in-house editor for Penguin Group and a freelance developmental editor. She has successfully edited fiction ranging from award-winning young adult novels to illustrated middle grade series. She also love horses and, in her work for Penguin Young Readers Group, was part of the editorial team who worked on the Hoofbeats series for young readers.

In three words: she is perfect. The only bad news is that since she is so good, she already has other work lined up and can't deliver the edit before December 21.

Now off to look for the perfect illustrator for the cover!

Today I sent out the draft of Horse Sense to a few editors so I can check their work and make a decision on which one to choose.
